The GARDEN AND POOL at La Grange Dureau

Close to the house there are mature gardens with a superb weeping willow, a perfect spot to relax in the shade during the hottest part of the day. Hazel trees and many other shrubs and plants surround the main house. The grounds extend to about 6000 m2 in total most of which is grass pasture.

Around the south-eastern corner of the main house there is an extensive terrace which is in the sun from dawn to dusk. An ideal place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or a leisurely evening meal. All exterior furniture is provided and there is even an outside power point for lighting or music. To northern end there is the outdoor pool, 10 m x 5 m, next to which there is a sunbathing area. In summer the pool temperature is normally between a refreshing 20 ° C and a delightful 26 ° C.

Also in the grounds there are two other buildings. Between the house and the pool is a small old tuffeau piggery currently used as a store bike park and pool house and across the driveway is a more substantial building not in use at the moment.
